KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The No. 1-ranked Central Methodist University men's soccer program had a pair of dominating wins last week and Marcos German (SO/Madrid, Spain) was recognized for his defensive effort in both games by being named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.

German led a defense that allowed opponents to combine for just five shots on frame through two games on the week, while also posting two clean sheets and outshooting teams at an 86-7 margin. German also scored the opening goal in the win against C-SC and had a pair of goals and assists against Clarke, all without surrendering a shot to his assignment.

The Eagles will return to action on Wednesday, October 16^th, for a road match against Evangel University at 7:30 PM.
