ATCHISON, Kan. - Central Methodist dropped a 3-1 decision to Benedictine (Kan.) in Heart of America Athletic Conference action Saturday at BC Soccer Complex.

Benedictine (7-5-1, 3-1) used two second-half goals to defeat Central Methodist University (7-7, 1-3).

The Ravens struck first during the eighth minute when Alex Buckner scored off a scrum inside the box.�

After the Eagles evened the match during the 18th minute off a goal by Guilherme da Silveira, the match remained tied through halftime and into the 53rd minute, when Fabio�Priore scored the go-ahead goal.�The Ravens added an insurance goal during the 90th minute when Ryan Dickerson scored off an assist from Kenneth Clarizio.

Benedictine keeper Taylor Vinnage earned the win recording four saves in 90 minutes of action.

Eagles' goalkeeper Carlos Ribera made four saves in 90 minutes.

Da Silveira tallied a match-high four shots on goal, while Jarrid Hamilton had one.

Central Methodist hosts William Woods (Mo.) on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 5 p.m. CT.
