HILLSBORO, Kan. - Tyler Neis continued his offensive tear Tuesday evening, tallying two goals in a 3-0 Central Methodist win over Tabor (Kan.). The Eagles recorded their third-straight clean sheet and have outscored opponents 18-0 during the stretch.
Neis scored the first two goals of the match in the 19th and 74th minutes for Central Methodist (6-3). The reigning Heart of America Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week has posted six goals and one assist in the last three matches. Luis Costa assisted on the first goal, while Guilherme da Silveira and Santiago Padruno each recorded an assist on the second goal.�
Daniel Arrazola scored the final goal of the match in the 88th minute.�
Goalkeeper Carlos Ribera (5-2) made two saves in 90 minutes in the win.
Bluejays netminder Tom Gaskell made eight saves in 90 minutes.
The Eagles outshot Tabor 22-4.
