Men's, Women's Soccer announce 2013 spring schedules

FAYETTE, Mo. - The Central Methodist men's and women's soccer teams have finalized their 2013 spring exhibition schedules, coach Dan Schmidlin announced.

The Central Methodist men's team will play three games in the spring.

Central Methodist hosts Missouri Valley and NCAA Division II Truman State on Saturday, April 13. The Eagles battle the Vikings at 12 p.m. CT before tangling with Bulldogs at 3 p.m.

Missouri Valley and Truman State play at 1:30 p.m.

Each game will feature 30 minute halves with a five minute halftime. There will be a 25-minute break between games.

The Green and Black's final spring game takes place at William Woods (Mo.) on Saturday, April 20. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.

The Central Methodist women's soccer team will play two games in the month of April.

Central Methodist hosts William Penn (Iowa) and Westminster (Mo.) at Davis Field on Saturday, April 27. The Eagles battle the Statesmen at 1 p.m. CT before squaring off with the Blue Jays at 4 p.m.

William Penn and Westminster kickoff at 2:30 p.m.

Each game will feature 30 minute halves with a five minute halftime. There will be a 25-minute break between games.�

The Central Methodist men's soccer team is coming off its best season in school history after posting a 12-6-1 mark in 2012. The women's soccer team finished the 2012 campaign 11-7. Both teams have posted back-to-back winning seasons.
