PARKVILLE, Mo. - Park University used a goal in the 79th minute to defeat Central Methodist University, 3-2, Tuesday night in men's soccer action at Julian Field.

The Eagles (5-2-1) outshot the Pirates (2-6) 18-12 in the game.

After Richard Osterloh gave Park a 1-0 lead in the 10th minute, Central Methodist answered with two goals in the 13th and 42nd minutes. Cesar Golfetti tied the game off a rebound on a Thyago Catharino shot.�

The Eagles took a 2-1 advantage right before halftime. A Luis Costa corner kick found Federico Morano for a header that ricocheted off the left post and snuck into the back of the net.

Osterloh tied the game for the Pirates in the 56th minute before Carlos Trombini scored the game-winner in the 79th minute. Trombini's free kick found the top left corner of the net.

Ryan Miller recorded six saves in goal for Park.

Goalkeeper Corey Schelle had four saves for the Green and Black.

Central Methodist, which is in the middle of a six-game road trip, will stop at Bethany College on Thursday. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. CT.
