The Central Methodist University men's soccer team added Hickman High School senior Kirtis Harris to its recruiting class for the 2010 season.

Harris, a native of Columbia, Mo., will join the CMU squad after helping Hickman High School to a third-place finish at state during the 2009 season. In addition to his high school career, Harris also played club soccer for several years, including most recently with the Columbia Pride team.

"Kirt is a great kid who we know extremely well," CMU Head Coach Dan Schmidlin said. "(Assistant) Coach Galla has coached his club team for the past two years, and Kirt will immediately bring a great work ethic and great character to our program. I look forward to coaching him and watching him develop and contribute to our program for the next four years."
