Fulton, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's golf team continued its strong showing at the WWU Fall Invitational earlier this week at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo.
The nine-team tournament featured 80 total golfers.
Central finished in third place with a two-round total of 571. The Eagles finished behind host William Woods (1st - 562) and Columbia College (2nd - 568).
Sophomore Cole Wiese had another solid outing, tying for first with a two-round score of 137. He would ultimately finish second after one playoff hole.
Carter Martin landed in the Top 20 with a 17th-place finish and a total score of 145. Garrett Rikel joined Martin in the Top 20, finishing in a tie for 19th with a two-round score of 146.
Keenan James (23rd - 147), Carter Jackson (23rd - 147), Cylas Worley (32nd - 150), Kyle Fitzpatrick (48th - 155), Brock Jenkins (66th - Brock Jenkins), Jackson Hackett (69th - 162), and John Howle (71st - 165) also competed for the Eagles.
Central will next host the CMU Fall Invitational Sept. 23-24 at Hail Ridge Golf Course in Boonville, Mo.
