Marshall, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Golf program had an outstanding showing at the Big Muddy Shoot Out Monday afternoon at Indian Hills Golf Course in Marshall, Mo. 

The single-round tournament featured 56 golfers from the following programs; Central Methodist, Columbia College, Metropolitan Community College, and host Missouri Valley College. 

Central finished the event in first place, shooting a new single-round school record of 273. 

Senior Matias Baccola earned another first-place finish, winning the event by four strokes with a score of 65. Luke Truter and Chad Coburn each tied for second place with scores of 69. 

Aaron Teece placed tied for fifth at 70 as did Tiago Swart. All of Central's top five golfers earned a top-five finish, including eight in the top 10. 

The Eagles continue fall action at the Columbia College Cougar Classic Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 3-4 in Columbia, Mo.
