CMU's Ross earns Daktronics award

DAKTRONICS-NAIA MEN'S GOLF SCHOLAR ATHLETES LIST
KANSAS CITY, Mo. –
Central Methodist University golfer Brendan Ross was one of only 144 golfers recognized nation-wide this week when the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) named him to the 2017 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete award, the national office announced.

Ross, a senior from Louisiana, Mo. (Louisiana H.S.), earned the honor by maintaining a minimum grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale, while achieving at least a junior academic status.

He was one of three Heart of America Athletic Conference men's golfers to be honored by the NAIA and Daktronics.
