LAWRENCE, Kan. Central Methodist ended the 2015 spring season on Tuesday with a seventh-place finish in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Men's Golf Championships, which we held at Alvamar Golf Course.
The Eagles finished the two-day event with a three-round total of 983 (326-325-332). Culver-Stockton won the HAAC Championship with a score of 920 (303-301-316).
Austin Rapp posted the highest individual finish for Central Methodist, taking 20th place by shooting a 54-hole score of 241 (81-78-82) for a three-round total of 25-over par. Jacob Williams tied for 21st place with a 242 (80-77-85) and his second round of 5-over par was the lowest 18-hole round of the tournament for the Eagles.
Brendan Ross tied for 25th place with a score of 244 (80-84-80). Kyle Nolawski finished in 34th place, carding a 258 (85-88-85). Greg Pitzer took 35th place with a score of 260 (86-86-88).
Culver-Stockton's Ryan Keller captured HAAC medalist honors by shooting a 7-over par 223 (73-73-77).
