MARSHALL, Mo. - Central Methodist sits in sixth place after the first day of the Missouri Valley Spring Invitational at Indian Hills Golf Course. The Eagles carded a 320 on the Par 72, 6,420-yard course.
The Eagles' Ty Lieberman and Trevor Cooley are tied for ninth overall, as each player shot a four-over 76. Lieberman shot a 37 on the front nine, while Cooley fired a 37 on the back nine. Austin Rapp is tied for 31st after shooting an 83 (41-42). Ryan Rost is two strokes behind Rapp tied for 39th after carding an 85 (42-43). Brendan Ross is tied for 42nd with an 86 (44-42).
Culver-Stockton (Mo.) leads the tournament with a team score of 300. The Wildcats' Ryan Keller and Matt McVey are tied for first, as each player shot a 72. Keller shot a 35 on the back nine, and McVey shot a 36 on the front and back nine.
The final round of tournament play begins Tuesday at 9 a.m. CT.
