Waterloo, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Bowling team returned to action for their first tournament of the year at the Cedar Valley Invite Saturday in Waterloo, Iowa.
The varsity men finished 18th, while the jv team placed 11th in their respective divisions.
For the varsity, Central bowled a three-game team total of 2,893 and a 12-game Baker total for a final score of 4,823. Hayden Johnson was Central's highest finisher, bowling a three-game total of 230 to finish 11th.
Branden Groce followed, bowling three games for a total of 590 to finish 63rd. Lukas Heldenbrand (80th - 564), Lane Hook (92nd - 544), and Adrian Wright (111th - 506) also bowled for the Eagles.
Hunter Scott led the JV squad with a 53rd place finishing, posting a three-game total of 606. Decland White followed with a 73rd place finish with a three-game total of 575.
Kenneth Lolley (118th - 480), Garrison Parkhurst (120th - 466) and Isaiah Foy (135th - 387) also competed.
Central will next compete in the NAIA West Open beginning Saturday, Feb. 7 at 9:00 a.m. in Topeka, Kan.
