FAYETTE, Mo. – The Central Methodist University competitive dance team earned a second place finish at the CMU Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles finished with a final score of 70.23 after receiving a 0.5 minor fall deduction. Baker won the event with a score of 76.43. Missouri Valley, who scored 50.27, finished third.
Central also topped Missouri Valley in a dual on Sunday, posting a final score of 72.4 in the event. Missouri Valley finished with a score of 53.43.
The Eagles will be back in action on Friday, February 28th, at the Midwest Regional Qualifier. The winner of Friday's event will earn an automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship.
