Philips-Robb Recreation Center

Re-dedicated on Sept. 20, 2014, the Philips-Robb Recreation Center houses one of only a handful of indoor practice facilities at any level in the state of Missouri. The facility also houses a recreational basketball court, the E.E. Rich Pool, a racquetball court, a golf practice room, and the administrative offices for softball, baseball and the assistant dean of student engagement.

The Philips Recreation Center was originally dedicated on April 25, 1981.

Indoor Turf Room:

All 15 Central Methodist men's and women's sports utilize the Indoor Practice Facility year-round. Re-dedicated on Sept. 20, 2014, as part of the Philips-Robb Recreation Center, the facility gives Central Methodist athletes a distinct advantage over its opponents, as it is one of only a handful of indoor practice facilities at any level in the state of Missouri. The 40x50 yard room, with a 24 foot tall ceiling, allows Eagles to practice inside during inclement weather. The Indoor Practice Facility also houses the Mark A. Lembke batting cage, used by the Central Methodist baseball and softball teams.

E.E. Rich Pool:

All 15 Central Methodist men's and women's sports utilize the E.E. Rich Pool year-round. Dedicated on April 25, 1981, as part of the Philips Recreation Center, the facility gives Central Methodist athletes a distinct advantage over its opponents, allowing the Eagles to train with water resistance and recuperate from injuries.

The 50 meters by 25 meters competition pool has a diving well with a depth of eight feet.

The facility is also open to the Central Methodist and surrounding community. Hours of operation can be found here.

The pool can be reserved for parties and other gatherings.
